For most families, summer is the start of holidays. For aviation it is the start of the hardest season of the year - the one where every system we build gets tested by full aircraft, hot afternoons, and parents trying to get a small, tired child to a gate on time.
I think about that overlap more than people expect.
Somewhere this summer, a delay you never noticed didn’t happen - because operational teams were working from the same picture, on a Friday, while their own kids waited at home.
